About the Album

Insulae is blurring the lines between alternative rock, trip hop, IDM, and dark ambient, the album draws on a European cinematic sensibility, where mood and texture take precedence over genre or form.

Some of the tracks reflect the solitude and inner turbulence brought on by global lockdowns, while others explore more subtle, everyday moments of longing, recognition, and disconnection. The result is a personal, layered soundscape that moves between inner monologue and collective memory.

At its core, Insulae is a meditation on isolation, not just physical, but emotional and existential. A sonic essay shaped by absence and awareness, it moves through phases of awakening, regret, resistance, and quiet release.
